About Grief Odyssey
Grief is not something we “get over.” It’s an odyssey. An unpredictable journey through deep waters, storms, and long nights. At Grief Odyssey, we believe that even in the hardest seasons, there can be light, connection, and growth.
The Mission
Grief Odyssey exists to create a safe space for anyone navigating loss. Whether you’ve experienced the passing of a loved one, a sudden tragedy, or life-altering change, this is a place to share your story, feel understood, and take steps toward healing.
Meet Mason Sawyer
I’m Mason, host of the 10 Ninety Podcast. After experiencing the sudden loss of my wife Kortni, son Riggins, daughter Franki, brother Race, and nephew Rider in a tragic accident, I found myself living in the deepest valley of grief. Through conversations with others who’ve faced loss, and by sharing my own journey, I’ve learned that grief is not a problem to be solved but a path to be traveled.
That path is hard, but you don’t have to walk it alone.
What We Offer
Grief Odyssey is a one-on-one online conversation space. You’ll have a full hour to talk, reflect, cry, ask questions, or just be heard. If you want advice, I’ll share what’s helped me and the families I’ve connected with over the years. If you just need someone to listen, I’ll be there.
Each conversation is:
Compassionate: A safe, non-judgmental space to share.
Personalized: No script, no agenda, just your story and your needs.
Guided by Hope: Together, we’ll search for light in the darkness.
Why “Odyssey”?
In Homer’s Odyssey, the hero faces storms, monsters, and uncertainty, but he never gives up on finding his way home. Grief is a similar odyssey. It takes time, courage, and endurance. Here, we honor that journey while keeping sight of the lantern that lights the way forward.
You’re Not Alone
Whether you want to talk once or return again, Grief Odyssey is here for you. This is your space to be seen, heard, and supported as you navigate the uncharted waters of grief.
